Dialog Box

Frames List

1. This list itemizes all frame and iframe elements on the page.
2. Selecting an item in the list, by clicking on the item or by using the arrow keys, highlights the area of the corresponding frame in the browser, activates Open in New Window and Focus on Frame button, activates Open Long Description button when the frame has a defined longdesc attribute, and displays any accessibility issues in Accessibility Information.
3.   Selecting an item with pink background, by clicking on the item or by using the arrow keys, displays failure statement in the Accessibility Information area.
4. Column
   • Order (hidden) - The sequence in which the items appear on the page is displayed.
   • Frame Title - The title attribute of each frame element unless it is empty, in which case the message   (Missing Title) is displayed.
   • HREF - The href attribute of each frame element is displayed.
   • Longdesc - The longdesc attribute of each frame element unless it is empty, in which case the message (none) is displayed.

Accessibility Information

•   Fail: Each frame element should have a title attribute.

Buttons

• View Summary - opens a new browser window and displays the contents of the dialog box in the new browser window, allowing the user to see/print the entire data set.
• Open Long Description - opens a new broswer window and displays the longdesc attribute that corresponds to the selected item in the dialog.
• Open in New Window - opens the selected frame in a new window or tab as per the user's browser preferenc.
• Focus on Frame - closes the dialog box and puts the focus on the selected frame in the browser.
• Close Window - closes the dialog box.
